Ron- Thanks for taking interest in Ping Pong... I mean Table Tennis! The section in the stores that are usually for footballs, and baseball equipment is taken up by ping pong and badminton!

I love the silhouette of the ping-pong...oh I mean...table tennis player. Thanks for getting that photo.
As far as Team USA basketball goes, I guess they are in southern China practicing now. They just demolished C-eh-N-eh-D-eh over the past weekend in Las Vegas. I am not sure how the Team USA table tennis is shaping up...
Generally speaking, how would you describe Peking? From your posts, it sounds like San Francisco's Chinatown on a larger scale, of course, with pollution and unusual cuisine (to non-natives) plus historical sites older than anything in the Western Hemesphere.
Since you arrived in May, have you seen any changes occur with everyday activites in China that you saw when you got there that you don't see anymore? For example, pehaps there was someone selling Notorious Neighbor bootleg CDs when you got there but you don't see them anymore. I am asking because Sarah wants to know if you can pick her up the complete series of "Gilmore Girls." haha not really.
How about pot stickers? Have you had any of those yet? I like them fried!
Good stuff...keep it up
